COURSE INFORMATION
MUEN 3421/5421 Inspirational Singers
Performance of African American literature with particular emphasis on Negro Spirituals, traditional/contemporary gospel, hymns, and world music. No audition required to registration. Rehearsal three hours per week.
As part of this course, students also have the opportunity to audition for one of the following teams.
Step Team
The Inspirational Singers has developed a very active Step Team. The Step Team is coordinated by two talented students, Amber Williams and Torrey Eason. They have designed rules and guidelines for those desirous of participating. The Step Team often presents step workshops on ensemble tours. Drama Team
The Inspirational Singers drama team is coordinated by Kendra Johnson. This group plays a very crucial part in the presentation of The Gospel Feast. For more information, please e-mail Kendra Johnson.
Dance Team
